1. DJ’ing (lessons, events and radio sessions)
This part of the RMR Club is for all those keen to learn, practice and master the art of perfectly blending sound elements into a seamless flow of audibly pleasant melodies that stimulates the audience and creates emotions. As a member of the club you can through the classes learn to enhance and own the inept ability to manipulate and create new sounds that will entertain, enthral and leave the audience breathless asking for more. The club aims to teach and pass on the artform of DJ Mixing to its through the provision of termly workshops and the creation of daily practice sessions. 90% of this art lies with the person concerned. Added advantages: dedicated practice times everyday, dedicated tutorials and workshops, opportunities to play at events and exposure to the industry.
2. Event Management
The RMR club aims to conceptualise, create and manage professional quality events that enhance the brand of Rhodes Music Radio. As a member of the club you can learn to manage and run events (the club hosts a minimum of 4 key events/parties each year). These events are managed and run by RMR club members under the guidance of the RMR Management team. From the conceptualisation to the implementation to the post event report, we teach you how to run and manage a successful event. RMR club members are able to engage directly with the RMR Marketing team and join forces on a weekly basis to plan events and campaigns.
3. Promotions, competitions and events
Members receive the latest news on the station, heads up on upcoming competitions and promotions and free or discounted access to RMR events.
4. Feedback and Programming design
The RMR Club members are able to comment on and suggest ideas for RMR programming to the station. These ideas are generated at bi-annual listener forums and through direct interaction with the RMR Programming team (via email).

1. Club membership is annual
2. Club membership signups take place in February each year
3. People may join the RMR Club throughout the year (the membership fee will depend on time of year).
4. Club Members must pay an annual membership fee on or before the end of February or upon joining.
5. RMR has the right to deny or terminate any applicant/members membership based on the following: criminal record, inappropriate conduct, harassment, abuse of facilities or privileges, impersonation of member/s, etcetera.
